The Bohol Information and Communication Technology Office (BICTO) conducted an ICT FOCAL Orientation last Nov. 25, 2022 at the SP Session Hall, New Capitol Building. Said activity was anchored on one of the pillars of the Administrative Framework of Governor Aumentado and Vice Governor Balite—the digitalization or simplfying processes in the PGBh for a transparent and effective delivery of services to constituents.
The activity was spearheaded by Senen S. Bojos, BICTO Head, who delivered the statement of purpose of the said ICT FOCAL Orientation.
Internal Deputy Chief of Staff Anne Mariquit D. Oppus, Ph.D. graced the BICTO-led activity, and delivered inspirational message to the attendees on behalf of the good Governor Erico Aristotle C. Aumentado.
Moreover, BICTO Section Heads discussed the importance of maintenance, systems developed, network security and database administration. Also, Data Privacy was equally highlighted to address the myriad threats of Information Technology.
The event was attended by around sixty (60) Focal Information Technology practitioners from the different PGBh offices and devolved hospitals.
