The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Bohol recently passed five (5) significant measures that are considered as among their latest law-making accomplishments since they took their office.
These are:
1) bereavement assistance consisting of 1 sack of rice and 1K for extremely poor families who lost their loved ones;
2) the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Abag program;
3) creation of a poverty reduction office;
4) mandatory water potability test requirement; and
5) mandatory enrolment with PhilHealth for all government official.

Speaking during the weekly forum The Capitol Reports, BM Jiselle Rae Villamor said that the SP has also supported the Legislative Agenda of the present administration in making Bohol a smart and resilient province that is strategizing towards a better agriculture and sustained tourism.
