The Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (OPSWD) will give out 40,000 peso-cash assistance per Municipal Federation of Senior Citizens in Bohol.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Carmelita Tecson announced on the second day of the Provincial Government of Bohol’s Distribution of Barangay Aid & Tanod Kits Thursday, November 17, 2022, with Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado. All Municipal Federations will receive cash assistance worth 40,000 pesos from OPSWD for program development funding on December 2022.
Tecson encouraged Federation officers to use the money wisely on programs that can benefit senior citizens in their respective municipalities. She also announced that the OPSWD is actively scouting for more centenarians to give out the 100,000 peso cash gift from the Provincial Government of Bohol, with nine more senior citizens to be awarded.
